How to use MSHELP

Information can be obtained from MSHELP by simply sending a blank
piece of mail to MSHELP@microsoft.com. An index is returned if a
blank message is sent, or if the words "index", "catalog", "directory"
etc. is in the subject line. Regardless of the subject line,
customers will always receive something whenever mail is sent to
MSHELP.

To request one of the listed items on the index or any public article
from the Microsoft Knowledge Base, a customer can send an e-mail
message to MSHELP@microsoft.com. In the Subject line of their message,
they can request specific items by entering the Article-ID number
(Qnnnnnn) for Knowledge Base article(s) or the 6-digit ID number for
packaged content as follows:

Subject: Q162721 (articles from the kb)

        -or-

Subject: 999998 (packaged content from the index list)

        -or-

Subject: Q162302, Q162304, 999998 (mixing them up is okay)
